Following the launch of the Sylff Association in April this year, new support programs have been developed to offer fuller support to fellows who are committed to and actively engaged in addressing social issues.

Today we are pleased to announce the two latest additions: Sylff Project Grant (SPG), which is being announced for the first time, and Local Association Networking Support (LANS), announced on September 1, 2017.

1. Sylff Project Grant

The Sylff Project Grant (SPG) is intended to support fellows who are deeply engaged in helping resolve issues confronting contemporary society through innovative, pioneering social action projects. SPG supports large-scale, social-impact projects that can be sustained, enhanced, and expanded over time. Up to US$100,000 is offered per project. Click the

2. Local Association Networking Support

Local Association Networking Support (LANS) facilitates the organization of gatherings and other activities by local Sylff associations and other alumni groups. Groups of five or more fellows or alumni from the same institution can apply for grants of up to US$5,000 per gathering to cover the long-distance transportation costs of participating fellows. Support programs offered by the Sylff Association are aimed at facilitating Sylff fellows with academic advancement, leadership development, and networking with one another. Please make active use of the networking, funding, and other benefits offered by the Sylff Association so that its resources can help you to help others.
