Graduate School Holds Orientation for First Year Graduate Students

Graduate School held an orientation session for first year graduate students who were admitted during the September 2019 Intake. The orientation was held on Friday 18th October, 2019 at the Chandaria Auditorium and was well attended by students from all colleges.

Sensitisation on HIV/AIDS and Alcohol & Drug Abuse

Graduate School staff had a sensitisation session on on HIV/AIDS and Alcohol & Drug Abuse on Thursday 17th Oct, 2019 at the graduate school board room. The sensitisation was facilitated by Dr. Gitari from University of Nairobi Health Services.

Graduate School Orientation for New Postgraduate Students - Friday 18th Oct, 2019

Location / Venue: 

University of Nairobi

Graduate School has organised orientation for the graduate students admitted  in the September 2019 Intake. The orientataion will be held on Friday October 18, 2019 from 4.00p.m to 6.45p.m. at the Chandaria Auditorium 6th floor, University of Nairobi Towers.

The purpose of the orientation is to induct the new graduate students into the university system  and also provide an opportunity for the students to interact with Senior Management and other key officers of the university.

All first year graduate students are invited.

Signing Ceremony between ICIPE and African Host Universities

University of Nairobi

University of Nairobi department of Physics hosted Doctoral students in Energy. They won the PASET regional scholarship and innovation fund.

A signing ceremony for partnership agreement between ICIPE and African Host Universities was also held. The Department of Physics will host PhD students in 'Energy including renewables' after competitively being selected based on submitted proposals in January 2019.

Commonwealth Scholarships (UNITED KINGDOM 2020)

University of Nairobi

The Commonwealth Commission in the United Kingdom is offering thirty seven (37) full scholarships for postgraduate studies for Kenyan students tenable in UK institutions of Higher Learning starting in October 2020. Eighteen (18) of the scholarships are for PhD while the remaining nineteen (19) are for Master Degrees.
The awards are tenable at any approved UK University or higher education institution with which the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission has a part- funding agreement.
