Dr. F. George Njoroge, PhD
A graduate of University of Nairobi, first class honors, George completed his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio in 1985 and joined Schering Plough Research Institute (SPRI) in 1988.
On March 23, 2019, he gave a motivational talk to Graduate Students during a mentorship programme at the Chandaria Auditorium.
On March 26, 2020, he spoke on the relationship between Research and Intellectual Property during a training on supervision for students and supervisors. This was a virtual training organized by the Graduate School.
Dr. Njoroge is currently The Chief Scientific Adviser at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral & Research Hospital (KUTRRH).

DAAD Regional office for Afica, Ms. Beate Schindler-Kovats and DAAD Program Officer Elizabeth Waithaka, visited the UoN on Tuesday 13th February and had discussions with the Ag. Director Graduate School, Prof. Lawrence Ikamari, Prof. Ephrahim Wahome, Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Jane Oduor, Chair Literature Department (where German Studies Program is housed) and Dr. Tobias Lechner, resident German Lecturer at UoN. The team later had further discussion with staff and students of the German studies program.
