University of Nairobi to admit top cream from last years KCSE candidates

The University of Nairobi will be admitting the top cream of the students who did their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams last year. This will be 313 of the 630 top students who scored A.

Tonny Wabuko Buluma, who was the best student will be joining the university to study Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery.

The top cream students chose to pursue courses within fields such as medicine, engineering, pharmacy among others.

Submission of Final Thesis/Dissertation/Research Projects and clearance at Graduate School

This is to inform all September 2020 Graduating Class that the Graduate School will receive the bound theses, dissertations and research projects; Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. - 2.00 p.m.

The bound theses, dissertations and research projects will be received by GS staff at the Reception 13th Floor of the University of Nairobi Towers.

UoN ranks top in Graduate employability

University of Nairobi graduates are the most preferred by Kenyan employers.

This was revealed by CPS International, a marketing and social research firm that surveyed 67 universities and 50 organizations between November and January in 2019/2020 academic year.

In an article published in the Daily Nation and the Standard Newspaper on Thursday May 7th,  the University of Nairobi graduate employability was 38.6% followed by Kenyatta University 30%, Moi 25%, JKUAT 19%, Egerton 18%, Maseno 18% and Technical University at 10%.
