Graduate School Take Part in Tree Planting

Graduate School took part in a tree planting exercise on Thursday 9th May, 2019, at the College of Biological and Physical Sciences. The exercise was sponsored by Mitsubishi Foundation, Yokohama City Foundation and the University of Nairobi.

CARTA PhD Fellowships 2019/2020 | Call for Applications

The call for application for the CARTA PhD Fellowships 2019/2020 is now open. During the 2019/2020 academic year, the CARTA program is planning to offer up to 25 PhD fellowships.

The fellowship, which is tenable at one of the participating African universities (complete list below), includes the cost of fellows’ participation in the advanced seminars; a modest monthly stipend; small grants for research activities; a laptop loaded with relevant software; funds for travel to conferences, as well as costs for participating in joint program activities. The fellowship runs for a maximum of four years.

Scholarship opportunities through IUCEA

Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) is pleased to inform the EAC citizens of the following scholarship opportunities available:

  1. Scholarships for the Master's program “Embedded and Mobile Systems” (EMoS) at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST), this program will award 40 Scholarships for the EAC citizens. Deadline for application is 15th April 2019 Click for more information
