The rules and regulations in the Students' Code of Conduct 2020 have been made by the Senate and the Council of the University of Nairobi in accordance with the provisions of the Universities Act, the University of Nairobi Charter, University Status and all other applicable news.
Online registration is currently on going for new graduate students. Watch the video attached on the procedure of how to register online.
As you prepare for the virtual orientation, please note of the following update details:
1. Online Registration: 24th- 31st August 2020
1. All fees and other charges are payable before the commencement of the semester/year as per respective fees structure.
2. No student shall be allowed into lectures, examinations rooms or participate any activities where fees for the semester/ year is not fully paid.

The University of Nairobi is home to over 40 nationalities from various parts of the World. It is important that International students are equipped with the right information during their studies at the University of Nairobi.
To date, the University of Nairobi has awarded 6 Higher Doctorate Degrees.
Prof. Annie Patricia Kameri-Mbote was awarded Doctor of Laws (LLD) on December 20th, 2019. She was the first woman to receive a Higher Doctorate Degree from the University of Nairobi.
ARUA Center of Excellence for Non-Communicable Diseases – PhD Support Programme 2020
Introduction and Purpose
The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi fund (GSNF) will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi, for Masters Programmes during the 2020/2021 academic year.
University of Nairobi is offering 137 masters scholarships for the 2020/2021 academic year. The applications are open only to applicants for the September 2020 intake.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria among other specific criteria by their respective units.
